In March of 2008, staff from West Sands Adoptions from Utah, along with our West Sands Adoptions Ethiopian staff, met in Addis with representatives from HOPE ARISING of Gilbert, Arizona. We discussed and agreed upon partnering together on a desperately needed water project for Dera, the community were our Orphanage is located. Together we were able to develop extensive financial and related resources that have made this ongoing water project very successful.

We are again partnering together on a Medical and Dental Free Clinic for Dera. We are very excited about current results and have ongoing plans to expand the project. West Sands Adoptions also serves Ethiopian orphans through our Ethiopia Adoption Program.
